Loon Nest

Here are a couple pictures of Andy Morton launching a loon nest on the lake.

Spring

It’s an early spring at Davidson Lake. The ice went out of the lake the first week of April, loons actually were here in the open parts of the lake before the ice was completely gone. The ducks were here a few days before the loons. This past weekend April 24th the trilliums and dog tooth violets were blooming. Normally we still have snow in the woods this time of the year.

A Committee meeting was held on April 18 at 1:30 p.m. in the Dumfries Fire Hall.

• Andy moved that the minutes of the March 21 meeting be adopted as read and Don seconded the motion.

• Final Review of By-laws –

Jacques reported that he had forwarded a copy of the By-Laws to the 3 Directors, who signed off on the By-laws following the meeting.
