AV Nackawic – Mill Odour

Hello, Ken:

Your call from Saturday regarding the odor from the Nackawic mill has been forwarded to me to answer since I am the Engineer at the Environment Department that deals with the mill on a day-to-day basis.

Your observation that the odor from the mill in the last year “has nearly become unbearable” is accurate. The Company, the Department, myself and the public are all in agreement that the odour level is unacceptable and that improvements are necessary.
