Committee Meeting August 2nd, 2009
A general meeting was held on August 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Dumfries Fire Hall to discuss the formation of a Davidson Lake Association. There were 35 people in attendance.
Ken Donald gave a presentation on the advantages of having an association to represent the interests of lake residents and users. After a brief discussion, there was a call for a motion to form an association.
- Don Veysey, seconded by Roland Lagacy, moved that a Davidson Lake Association be formed to protect the ecosystem of Davidson Lake and its watershed. Motion carried.
